Review of Sonia Kashuk Eye Shadow Quads

I bought two Sonia Kashuk Eye Shadow Quads: Shimmering sands and Textured Mauve:

The shades looked so nice and sparkly, so I couldn't resist even though they were almost $14. I rushed home, just to try them on. I was really disappointed because colors weren't rich, very translucent, shimmer didn't stay on for a second. Textured Mauve was a lit better, colors came out all like pale pink with strong blue undertones. I'm going to return both, and order inglot , mac borbourjois shadows instead.
